Gallerist Contributes to Giovanni Battista Scultori Museum Exhibition

Old World Wonders gallerist, Michael Riddick, recently contributed an academic essay on the silversmith production of the 16th century Italian artist, Giovanni Battista Scultori for the first exhibit dedicated to that artist, hosted at the Ducal Palace in Mantua, from April 20 to July 21, 2024.

The exhibition explores a critical analysis of Scultori ‘s activity as an engraver, sculptor, stuccatore and silversmith. The exhibition’s scholarship is summarized in its catalog: Intagliator di stampe e scultore eccellente. Giovanni Battista Scultori incisore del Cinquecento, published by Electa.
