A lovely early 20th century French trumeau mirror in Louis XVI-style. This mirror is painted in a beautiful cream tone with highlighted gold gilt details. The outer border features a handsome gilt ribbon border with the interior trim featuring a guilloche pattern with raised square foliated corners.
The mirror is surmounted by an elegant urn with foliate details. The upper leaf of the applique extends beyond the upper margin of the frame in a sophisticated break of the mirrors’ otherwise linear form.
Condition commensurate with age. Minor stress marks and nicks but otherwise superb condition.
